गिलासुर-आक्रमणम् तथा शिवसैन्य-समाह्वानम् — The Assault of Gila and Śiva’s Mobilization
विसर्जयामास रणाय देवान्विश्रांतवाहानथ तत्पिनाकी । युद्धे स्थिरं लब्धजयं प्रधानं संप्रेषितास्ते तु महेश्वरेण
visarjayāmāsa raṇāya devānviśrāṃtavāhānatha tatpinākī | yuddhe sthiraṃ labdhajayaṃ pradhānaṃ saṃpreṣitāste tu maheśvareṇa
Dann entsandte der Pināka-tragende Herr (Śiva) die Götter in die Schlacht, nachdem ihre Reittiere ausgeruht hatten. Standhaft im Kampf und des Sieges bereits gewiss, wurden jene Vornehmsten so von Maheśvara ausgesandt.

A practical takeaway is to begin undertakings with Śiva-smaraṇa and japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), cultivating steadiness (sthira-bhāva) and surrendering results to Maheśvara, as the devas act under His command.
