Transliteration

ityevaṃ tu vacaḥ śrutvā rājā māyāmayo'bhavat | uvāca vacanaṃ śīghraṃ yatiṃ taṃ hi kṛtāṃjaliḥ

Translation

Als der König diese Worte vernommen hatte, wurde er innerlich von māyā (Verblendung) aufgewühlt. Dann sprach er, die Hände ehrfürchtig gefaltet, rasch zu jenem Asketen.
