शिवदूतस्य शङ्खचूडकुलप्रवेशः — The Śiva-Envoy’s Entry into Śaṅkhacūḍa’s City
शंखचूड उवाच । राज्यं दास्ये न देवेभ्यो वीरभोग्या वसुंधरा । रणं दास्यामि ते रुद्र देवानां पक्षपातिने
śaṃkhacūḍa uvāca | rājyaṃ dāsye na devebhyo vīrabhogyā vasuṃdharā | raṇaṃ dāsyāmi te rudra devānāṃ pakṣapātine
Śaṃkhacūḍa sprach: „Den Devas werde ich das Reich nicht überlassen; diese Erde ist zum Genuss der Helden bestimmt. Doch dir, o Rudra, der du die Devas begünstigst, gewähre ich den Kampf.“
