The verse teaches that auspiciousness arises from darśana (a sanctifying encounter) and from kṛpā (grace). In a Shaiva Siddhanta sense, grace removes inner obstacles (pāśa) and steadies the devotee’s welfare and confidence.
It highlights the core bhakti principle behind Saguna worship: receiving darśana—of the Deity, the liṅga, or a revered embodiment of the Divine—invokes grace and brings śānti and well-being. The emphasis is not mere seeing, but a grace-filled encounter.
Seek darśana with devotion and humility: visit a Śiva temple or liṅga shrine, offer reverent salutations, and repeat the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) while cultivating gratitude for kṛpā (grace).
