Brahmā sprach: Als Satī die Worte Rāmas hörte, erschrak sie in jenem Augenblick. Sie erinnerte sich an Śivas Ausspruch und erkannte ihn als unfehlbar wahr; da schämte sie sich zutiefst.
Brahma
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Shakti Form: Satī
Role: teaching
It highlights the unfailing truth of Śiva’s word and the inner moral awakening (lajjā as self-correction) that arises when one recognizes divine insight operating beyond ordinary perception.
Satī’s remembrance of Śiva’s true speech points to Saguna Śiva as the compassionate Lord who guides devotees through clear instruction; devotion deepens when His words are verified in lived experience, strengthening śraddhā in worship.
A practical takeaway is smaraṇa (remembrance) of Śiva’s teachings—repeating the Panchākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” while reflecting on truthfulness and humility, allowing shame to become a purifying resolve rather than self-blame.
