„O Brahmā, sprich fortwährend ‚Satī, Satī‘; ich werde tun, was getan werden muss. Da sie nicht von mir verschieden ist, muss sie von mir erlangt werden – daher mögen die entsprechenden Vorkehrungen dafür getroffen werden.“
Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Umāpati
Mantra: satīti satataṃ
Shakti Form: Satī
Role: liberating
Shiva declares Satī to be non-different from Himself (abheda), expressing the Shaiva view that Śiva and Śakti are one reality; union is attained through right means supported by continuous sacred remembrance.
By emphasizing continual utterance and focused remembrance, the verse aligns with Saguna upāsanā—devotion to Shiva with form and attributes—often practiced through Linga-worship, nāma-japa, and steady contemplation.
A clear takeaway is nāma-japa (repetitive sacred utterance) with unwavering attention; it can be integrated with Shaiva disciplines like mantra-japa (e.g., Panchakshara), bhasma/tripundra, and Rudraksha as supportive aids where appropriate.
