This verse highlights Śakti’s anugraha (grace): the Divine Mother responds to sincere devotion by making her presence directly experiencable. In Shaiva Siddhanta, such manifestation affirms the compassionate, accessible (saguṇa) aspect of the Supreme—guiding the soul toward purification and God-realization.
Calling her “Maheśānī” places her inseparably with Maheśa (Śiva), reflecting the Śiva-Śakti unity central to Linga worship. The verse supports saguṇa upāsanā: God and Goddess graciously reveal themselves through form, presence, and relationship to uplift the devotee.
The verse suggests bhakti-centered remembrance and praise (stuti) as a direct means to invite grace—supported by japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” and reverent worship of Śiva with awareness of Śakti as his inseparable power.
