गिरिराजस्य शिवनिमन्त्रणम् / The Mountain-King Invites Śiva
Hospitality to Śiva and the Devas
ब्रह्मोवाच । इत्युक्त्वा मेनका तस्मै समर्प्य स्वसुतान्तदा । अत्युच्चै रोदनङ्कृत्वा मूर्च्छामाप तयोः पुरः
brahmovāca | ityuktvā menakā tasmai samarpya svasutāntadā | atyuccai rodanaṅkṛtvā mūrcchāmāpa tayoḥ puraḥ
Brahmā sprach: Nachdem Menakā so geredet hatte, vertraute sie ihm sogleich ihre eigene Tochter an. Laut aufschluchzend vor großem Schmerz sank sie vor ihnen beiden in Ohnmacht.
