वैवाहिकानुष्ठानसमापनं दानप्रशंसा च / Completion of Wedding Rites and Praise of Gifts

सरस्वत्युवाच । प्राप्ता सती महादेवाधुना प्राणाधिका मुदा । दृष्ट्वा प्रियास्यञ्चन्द्राभं सन्तापन्त्यज कामुक
sarasvatyuvāca | prāptā satī mahādevādhunā prāṇādhikā mudā | dṛṣṭvā priyāsyañcandrābhaṃ santāpantyaja kāmuka
Sarasvatī sprach: „Nun ist Satī zu Mahādeva gekommen, Ihm lieber als das eigene Leben, und bringt große Freude. O vom Begehren Ergriffener, wenn du das mondgleiche Antlitz seiner Geliebten schaust, wirf deinen Kummer von dir.“
