Brahmā sprach: Nachdem Bhavān—der Geliebte Śaṅkaras—so den Befehl des Herrn empfangen hatte, ging er eilends, o Weiser, zu einem jeden und lud sie alle ein.
Brahma
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Īśāna
Sthala Purana: Not a Jyotirliṅga account; it depicts the orderly execution of Īśa’s command in the marriage preparations.
Significance: Models dharmic participation: responding to Īśa’s ājñā and inviting all beings symbolizes the Lord’s inclusive governance and the cosmic ‘summons’ to bhakti.
It highlights śaraṇāgati (reverent compliance) to Īśa’s command—devotional readiness and swift service, which Shaiva tradition treats as an outer expression of inner bhakti and discipline.
By calling Śiva ‘Īśa’ and ‘Śaṅkara,’ the verse frames Him as the personal Lord (Saguna) whose will guides sacred events; honoring His command supports ritual order and devotion that culminate in Linga-centered worship.
The takeaway is prompt, orderly seva: respond quickly to divine duty—paired with daily Shaiva disciplines like japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and maintaining purity of intention while performing assigned actions.
