Transliteration

jalaṃ nītvā dadau tasmai gautamāya tapasvinī | nityaṃ nirvāhayāmāsa jalena ṛṣisattamaḥ

Translation

Die asketische Frau brachte Wasser und reichte es Gautama dar. Und der erhabenste der Rishis vollzog unablässig seine täglichen Observanzen mit eben diesem Wasser.
