Puruṣa–Prakṛti Analysis in Advaita Śaiva Doctrine

FAQs

It teaches that Shiva (Pati) is the inner Lord beyond contradiction, who can veil or reveal His powers (like knowledge) for the soul’s maturation, while remaining the complete, unified Reality.

Linga worship trains the mind to recognize the one Lord present within all states and opposites; the verse points to Shiva as the inner presence who manifests powers in saguna form yet remains the undivided totality.

Meditate on Shiva as the indwelling Self with steady japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), contemplating that knowledge and other faculties arise and withdraw by His grace.
