Sukta 9.96

Devata: Soma Pavamāna

स पूर्व्यो वसुविज्जायमानो मृजानो अप्सु दुदुहानो अद्रौ । अभिशस्तिपा भुवनस्य राजा विदद्गातुं ब्रह्मणे पूयमानः ॥

sá pū́rvyo vasu-víj jā́yamāno mṛjānáḥ apsú duduhānáḥ ádrau | abhiśastí-pā bhuvánasya rā́jā vidád gātúṃ bráhmaṇe pū́yamānaḥ ||

Er, der Uralte, der Kenner und Finder der Schätze, wird aufs Neue geboren; in den Wassern gereinigt, auf dem Stein ausgepresst. Schutz gegen feindliches Wort und Angriff, König der Welt—geläutert findet er den Pfad für das Brahman, den Weg öffnend, damit das Mantra Wahrheit verkörpere.
