Transliteration

yáthā pū́rvebhyaḥ śatásā́ amṛ́dhraḥ sahasrasā́ḥ pár yayā vā́jam indo | evā́ pavasva suvitā́ya návyase táva vratám anv ā́paḥ sacante ||

Translation

Wie einst, o Indu, zogst du ringsumher und gewannst vāja hundertfach, tausendfach, ohne Fehl — so läutere dich nun zu neuem, weiterem Heil. Die Wasser folgen deinem vrata; sie stimmen deinem Weg zu und tragen deine verordnete Bewegung.
