पूर्वामनु प्रदिशं याति चेकितत्सं रश्मिभिर्यतते दर्शतो रथो दैव्यो दर्शतो रथः । अग्मन्नुक्थानि पौंस्येन्द्रं जैत्राय हर्षयन् । वज्रश्च यद्भवथो अनपच्युता समत्स्वनपच्युता ॥

Transliteration

pū́rvām ánu prádiśaṃ yāti cékitat sáṃ raśmíbhiḥ yatate darśató rátho daivyó darśató ráthaḥ | ágmann ukthā́ni paúṃsyéndraṃ jaitrā́ya harṣayan | vájraś ca yád bhávatho ánapa-cyutā samátsv ánapa-cyutā ||

Translation

Er zieht dahin in der vorderen Richtung, klar erkennend; mit seinen Strahlen wird er zusammengefügt — der sichtbare Wagen, der göttlich sichtbare Wagen. Zu Indra kamen die mannhaften Uktha-Hymnen, ihn zur Siegesfahrt erfreuend; und auch der Vajra — wenn ihr in den Kämpfen unerschütterlich werdet, unerschütterlich.
