Sukta 8.90
आ नो विश्वासु हव्य इन्द्रः समत्सु भूषतु । उप ब्रह्माणि सवनानि वृत्रहा परमज्या ऋचीषमः ॥
ā́ no víśvāsu hávya índraḥ samátsu bhūṣatu | úpa bráhmāṇi sávanāni vṛtrahā́ paramajyā́ ṛcī́ṣamaḥ ||
Möge Indra, der Anzurufende, in all unseren Kämpfen zu uns kommen; möge Vṛtrahan, der Erschläger des Verhüllers, sich unseren Brahman-Formeln und unseren Pressungen (des Soma) nahen. Im Ansturm der Höchste, Herr des ṛṣi-Wortes, nehme er Platz in unserer Opfergabe.
