अपादिन्द्रो अपादग्निर्विश्वे देवा अमत्सत । वरुण इदिह क्षयत्तमापो अभ्यनूषत वत्सं संशिश्वरीरिव ॥

Transliteration

apā́d índro apā́d agnír víśve devā́ amatsata | váruṇa íd ihá kṣayat tám ā́po abhyànūṣata vatsáṃ saṃśíśvarīr iva ||

Translation

Indra trank; Agni trank; alle Götter wurden froh. Auch Varuṇa wohnte hier; und die Wasser strömten ihm zu mit murmelndem Laut, wie Mütter, die um ein Kalb brüllen — und nährten die innewohnende Ordnung mit ihrem fließenden Einverständnis.
