सहस्रे पृषतीनामधि श्चन्द्रं बृहत्पृथु । शुक्रं हिरण्यमा ददे ॥
Transliteration
sahasré pṛ́ṣatīnām ádhi candráṃ bṛhát-pṛthú | śukráṃ híraṇyam ā́ dadé ||
Translation
Auf tausend scheckigen Stuten setzte er den Glanz — leuchtend, groß und weit; er gab strahlendes Gold.
