अग्ने कविर्वेधा असि होता पावक यक्ष्यः । मन्द्रो यजिष्ठो अध्वरेष्वीड्यो विप्रेभिः शुक्र मन्मभिः ॥

Transliteration

ágné kavír vedhā́ ási hótā pā́vaka yákṣyaḥ | mandró yájiṣṭho adhvaréṣv ī́ḍyo víprebhiḥ śúkra mánmabhiḥ ||

Translation

O Agni, du bist Kavi und Vedhá, der Hotar, der Läuterer; vollziehe das Opfer. Freudvoll, der opfertüchtigste in den Adhvaras, in den Opferhandlungen preiswürdig, leuchtest du mit den hellen Gedanken der Inspirierten.
