उदु त्ये मधुमत्तमा गिरः स्तोमास ईरते । सत्राजितो धनसा अक्षितोतयो वाजयन्तो रथा इव ॥

úd u tyé mádhu-mattamā gíraḥ stomā́sa īrate | satrā́-jito dhanásā akṣítotayo vājayánto ráthā iva ||

Empor steigen jene Reden, übervoll von honigsüßer Wonne; die Hymnen drängen hervor. Allzeit siegreich, den Schatz gewinnend, mit unversiegenden Hilfen treiben sie den Vāja voran wie Wagen, die vorwärtsstürmen.
