Sukta 8.102

Devata: Agni (implied continuity; cosmic-ritual foundation imagery)

यस्य त्रिधात्ववृतं बर्हिस्तस्थावसंदिनम् । आपश्चिन्नि दधा पदम् ॥

yásya tridhā́tv ávṛtaṁ bárhis tasthā́v asáṁdinam | ā́paś cin ní dadhā padám ||

Er, dessen dreifach gegründeter Sitz — die ausgebreitete heilige Streu — ungebrochen dasteht; selbst die Wasser setzen dort ihren Schritt: in dieser gefestigten Grundlage findet die Bewegung des Bewusstseins ihren Halt.
