इन्द्रासोमा तपतं रक्ष उब्जतं न्यर्पयतं वृषणा तमोवृधः । परा शृणीतमचितो न्योषतं हतं नुदेथां नि शिशीतमत्रिणः ॥

Transliteration

indrā́somā tápataṃ rákṣa ubjátam ní arpayataṃ vṛṣaṇā tamo-vṛ́dhaḥ | párā śṛṇītam acíto ní oṣataṃ hatáṃ nudéthāṃ ní śiśītam atríṇaḥ ||

Translation

Indra und Soma, lodert auf; zerschlagt die Rakṣas, drückt sie nieder; ihr Stiere, stoßt hinab die, die durch Nachtfinsternis wachsen. Schleudert sie weit fort, brennt aus, die ohne erwachtes Schauen sind; schlagt und treibt die Verzehrer fort — schärft eure Macht gegen die inneren Zerstörer.
