Sukta 6.62

Rishi: Bharadvāja Bārhaspatya (traditional attribution for Mandala 6)
Devata: Aśvinau (Nāsatyā), the twin healers and swift bringers of aid; verse also invokes the inner Hotṛ (Agni) as officiant
Chandas: Triṣṭubh (probable for RV 6.62; verify pada-length in critical edition)

ता नव्यसो जरमाणस्य मन्मोप भूषतो युयुजानसप्ती । शुभं पृक्षमिषमूर्जं वहन्ता होता यक्षत्प्रत्नो अध्रुग्युवाना ॥

tā navyàso járamāṇasya mánmópa bhūṣato yuyujāná-saptī | śúbhaṁ pṛ́kṣam íṣam ū́rjaṁ váhantā hótā yákṣat pratnó adhrúg yúvānā ||

Diese beiden, stets sich erneuernden Mächte, schmücken den Gedanken des heranwachsenden Suchers, im siebenfachen Wirken angeschirrt; sie tragen ihm hellen Zuwachs — Antrieb (iṣ) und nährende Kraft (ūrj). Möge der uralte, untrügliche Hotar (hotā) ihnen das Opfer vollziehen, während sie in ihrem göttlichen Wirken ewig jugendlich bleiben.
