Sukta 6.52
न तद्दिवा न पृथिव्यानु मन्ये न यज्ञेन नोत शमीभिराभिः । उब्जन्तु तं सुभ्वः पर्वतासो नि हीयतामतियाजस्य यष्टा ॥
ná tád divā́ ná pṛthivyā́ ánu manye ná yajñéna nóta śamī́bhir ābhíḥ | ubjántu táṃ subhvàḥ párvatāso ní hīyatām atiyā́jasya yaṣṭā́ ||
Nicht nach der Höhe des Himmels noch nach der Weite der Erde messe ich dies; nicht durch Opferformen, nicht einmal durch diese besänftigenden Handlungen. Die festen, lichtvollen Mächte — die „Berge“ — sollen jenen niederdrücken; der Über-Opfernde, der irre Opfernde, soll abfallen, geschwächt an Kraft.
