तूर्वन्नोजीयान्तवसस्तवीयान्कृतब्रह्मेन्द्रो वृद्धमहाः । राजाभवन्मधुनः सोम्यस्य विश्वासां यत्पुरां दर्त्नुमावत् ॥

tū́rvan ójīyān tavásas tavī́yān kṛtá-brahméndro vṛddhá-mahā́ḥ | rājā́bhavan mádhunaḥ sómyasya víśvāsāṃ yát purā́ṃ dartnúm ā́vat ||

Überwältigend, stärker, heftiger als die Heftigen: Indra — dessen Wort durch das Mantra wahr gemacht ist — wuchs zu gewaltiger Größe heran. Zum König wurde er durch den Honig des Soma, als er die Festen aller Städte zerschmetterte.
