यद्बंहिष्ठं नातिविधे सुदानू अच्छिद्रं शर्म भुवनस्य गोपा । तेन नो मित्रावरुणावविष्टं सिषासन्तो जिगीवांसः स्याम ॥

Transliteration

yád baṃhíṣṭhaṃ ná ati-vídhe sudānū́ ácchidraṃ śárma bhuvanásya gopā́ | téna no mitrāvaruṇāv aviṣṭaṃ siṣā́santo jigīvā́ṃsaḥ syāma ||

Translation

Jenes weiteste, unüberbotene Obdach — unversehrt, ohne Riss — wodurch ihr, ihr Freigebigen, als Hüter die Welt bewacht: damit schützt uns, o Mitra und Varuṇa, auf dass wir, vorwärtsstrebend, lebendige Sieger seien.
