अरा इवेदचरमा अहेव प्रप्र जायन्ते अकवा महोभिः । पृश्नेः पुत्रा उपमासो रभिष्ठाः स्वया मत्या मरुतः सं मिमिक्षुः ॥

arā́ ivéd ácaramā áhéva prá-pra jā́yante ákavā máhobhiḥ | pṛ́śneḥ putrā́ upamā́so rábhiṣṭhāḥ sváyā matyā́ marútaḥ sáṃ mimikṣuḥ ||

Wie Speichen — wahrlich unermüdlich; wie Schlangen werden sie immer wieder geboren, nicht schwach, durch die Größe ihrer Mächte. Die Söhne der Pṛśni, unvergleichlich, die stürmischsten — aus eigenem Sinn haben sie, die Maruts, sich zu einer einzigen Kraft zusammengemischt.
