Sukta 5.52
आ रुक्मैरा युधा नर ऋष्वा ऋष्टीरसृक्षत । अन्वेनाँ अह विद्युतो मरुतो जज्झतीरिव भानुरर्त त्मना दिवः ॥
ā́ rukmáir ā́ yúdhā nára ṛ́ṣvā ṛ́ṣṭīr asṛkṣata | ánv enā́n áha ví-dyuto marúto jajjhatī́r-iva bhā́nur arta tmánā diváḥ ||
Mit goldglänzendem Strahlenglanz, mit Waffen, haben die Helden ihre hochragenden Speere losgelassen; ihnen folgen wahrlich die Blitze — wie knisternde Flammenzungen —: der Glanz des Himmels bewegt sich aus eigener Kraft.
