वित्वक्षणः समृतौ चक्रमासजोऽसुन्वतो विषुणः सुन्वतो वृधः । इन्द्रो विश्वस्य दमिता विभीषणो यथावशं नयति दासमार्यः ॥

vi-tvákṣaṇaḥ sámṛtau cakrám āsajó 'sūnvató víṣuṇaḥ sunvató vṛdháḥ | índro víśvasya damitā́ vi-bhī́ṣaṇo yathāvaśáṃ nayati dā́sām ā́ryaḥ ||

Mit durchdringender Kunst setzte er das Rad in Bewegung im Zusammenfügen der Jahreszeiten; getrennt von den Nicht-Pressenden (asunvat), Mehrer der Pressenden (sunvat) — so ist Indra. Indra, Bezwinger des Alls, furchtbar in seiner Macht, führt nach seinem Willen den Dāsa, die dunkle dienstbare Natur; und der Ārya, die edle strebende Kraft, schreitet voran.
