Sukta 3.55
नि वेवेति पलितो दूत आस्वन्तर्महाँश्चरति रोचनेन । वपूंषि बिभ्रदभि नो वि चष्टे महद्देवानामसुरत्वमेकम् ॥
ní veveti palitó dūtá āsv antár mahā́ṁś cárati rocanéna | vapū́ṃṣi bíbhrad abhí no ví caṣṭe mahád devānām asura-tvám ékam ||
Hinab eilt der greise Bote — in den Strömungen, im Innern der Wasser; groß wandelt er im lichtglänzenden Bereich. Viele Gestalten tragend, schaut er in Unterscheidung auf uns: eins ist die weite Herrschaft (asuratva) der Götter.
