अभि तष्टेव दीधया मनीषामत्यो न वाजी सुधुरो जिहानः । अभि प्रियाणि मर्मृशत्पराणि कवीँरिच्छामि संदृशे सुमेधाः ॥

Transliteration

abhí taṣṭéva dīdhayā manīṣām atyo ná vājī su-dhúro jihā́naḥ | abhí priyā́ṇi marmṛ́śat párāṇi kavī́ṁr icchāmi saṁdṛ́śe su-medhā́ḥ ||

Translation

Mit formender Schau, wie ein Handwerker, schnitze ich den Gedanken — wie ein schneller, sieghafter Hengst, gut angeschirrt und zum Ansturm bereit. Die lieben, verborgenen Lebenshauche berührend und erweckend, suche ich, von guter Einsicht, die ṛṣi zum inneren Schauen.
