Sukta 3.30
उद्वृह रक्षः सहमूलमिन्द्र वृश्चा मध्यं प्रत्यग्रं शृणीहि । आ कीवतः सललूकं चकर्थ ब्रह्मद्विषे तपुषिं हेतिमस्य ॥
úd vṛha rákṣaḥ sahá-mūlam indra vṛścā́ mádhyaṃ práty agraṃ śṛṇīhi | ā́ kī́vataḥ salalū́kaṃ cakartha brahmadvíṣa tápuṣiṃ hetím asyá ||
Reiß, o Indra, den Rakṣas samt der Wurzel aus; schneide seine Mitte entzwei, schlag seine Spitze ab. Den Knauser und den Krummen hast du zunichte gemacht; gegen den Hasser des heiligen Wortes hast du eine brennende Waffe geschmiedet — eine Schneide aus Tapas, zu seinem Verderben.
