ऋतावानः प्रतिचक्ष्यानृता पुनरात आ तस्थुः कवयो महस्पथः । ते बाहुभ्यां धमितमग्निमश्मनि नकिः षो अस्त्यरणो जहुर्हि तम् ॥

Transliteration

ṛtā́vānaḥ prati-cákṣyānṛ́tā púner ā́ta ā́ tasthuḥ kaváyo mahás páthaḥ | té bāhúbhyāṃ dhamitám agním áśmani nákiḥ ṣó asty áraṇo jahúr hí tám ||

Translation

Die Träger des Ṛta, zurückblickend auf die Unwahrheit, standen wieder auf dem weiten Pfad; mit ihren Armen entfachten sie im Stein das herausgetriebene Feuer — niemand ist da, der hindere: wahrhaft haben sie es hervorgeschleudert.
