अन्वह मासा अन्विद्वनान्यन्वोषधीरनु पर्वतासः । अन्विन्द्रं रोदसी वावशाने अन्वापो अजिहत जायमानम् ॥

ánv aha māsā́ ánv íd vanā́ny ánv óṣadhīr ánu párvatāsaḥ | ánv índraṃ ródasī vāvaśāné ánv ā́po ajihata jā́yamānam ||

Monat um Monat folgte ihm; die Wälder folgten, die Oṣadhis (Heil- und Zauberkräuter) folgten, die Berge folgten. Die beiden Welten, laut rufend, folgten Indra; die Wasser eilten ihm nach, als er geboren wurde – so unabwendbar ist das Kommen der sieghaften Macht.
