Transliteration

stómaṃ ta indra vimadā́ ajījanann apū́rvyaṃ purutámā sudā́nave | vidmá hy asya bhójanam inásya yadā́ paśúṃ na gopā́ḥ karā́mahe ||

Translation

Einen Lobgesang dir, o Indra, haben die Vimadas hervorgebracht — nie zuvor, überaus reich — für den freigebigen Spender. Denn wir kennen den Genuss dieser herrischen Macht: wenn wir sie uns zu eigen machen, wie Hirten das Vieh behüten.
