यददो वात ते गृहेऽमृतस्य निधिर्हितः । ततो नो देहि जीवसे ॥
Transliteration
yád adó vāta te gṛhé ’mṛ́tasya nidhír hitáḥ | tátó no dehi jīváse ||
Translation
Wenn dort, o Vāta, in deinem Hause ein Schatz der Unsterblichkeit niedergelegt ist, dann gib uns aus jenem Vorrat zum Leben — möge der unsterbliche Anteil in unseren Atem eingehen und unseren Weg tragen.
