Sukta 10.16
क्रव्यादमग्निं प्र हिणोमि दूरं यमराज्ञो गच्छतु रिप्रवाहः । इहैवायमितरो जातवेदा देवेभ्यो हव्यं वहतु प्रजानन् ॥
kravyā́dam agníṃ prá hiṇomi dūráṃ yamárājño gacchatu ripravā́haḥ | iháivā́yam ítaro jā́tavedā devébhyo havyáṃ vahatu prajā́nan ||
Den fleischverzehrenden Agni sende ich weit hinweg; er gehe in das Reich des Königs Yama und trage die Unreinheit fort. Hier aber bleibe der andere Jātavedas, der Allwissende, und bringe den Göttern die Opfergabe dar, der die Geschlechter kennt.
