बर्हिषदः पितर ऊत्यर्वागिमा वो हव्या चकृमा जुषध्वम् । त आ गतावसा शंतमेनाथा नः शं योररपो दधात ॥

barhíṣadaḥ pitara ūtý arvā́g imā́ vo havyā́ cakṛma juṣádhvam | te ā́ gatā́vasā śáṃtamena áthā naḥ śáṃ yór arápo dadhāta ||

O Väter, die ihr auf dem Barhis sitzt, kommt herbei mit eurer schützenden Hilfe; diese Opfergaben haben wir euch bereitet — freut euch ihrer. Kommt mit der friedensreichsten Unterstützung; dann setzt in uns Heil und weite, unverletzte Ganzheit fest.
