Sukta 10.106
बृहन्तेव गम्भरेषु प्रतिष्ठां पादेव गाधं तरते विदाथः । कर्णेव शासुरनु हि स्मराथोंऽशेव नो भजतं चित्रमप्नः ॥
bṛhántēva gambharēṣu prati-sthā́ṃ pā́dēva gādháṃ tarate vidāthaḥ | karṇēva śā́sur ánu hí smarāthōṃśēva no bhajataṃ citrám apnaḥ ||
Wie das Große selbst setzt ihr in den Tiefen festen Grund; wie ein sicherer Fuß tragt ihr über die schwere Furt beim Opfergang. Wie ein Ohr, das dem Wort des Lehrers folgt, gedenkt ihr und antwortet auf unseren Ruf. Gewährt uns als rechtmäßigen Anteil die mannigfaltigen Werke des Gelingens — wunderbare Errungenschaften der Seele.
