उद्धर्षय मघवन्नायुधान्युत्सत्वनां मामकानां मनांसि । उद्वृत्रहन्वाजिनां वाजिनान्युद्रथानां जयतां यन्तु घोषाः ॥

úddharṣaya maghavann ā́yudhāny utsátvanāṃ māmakā́nāṃ mánāṃsi | úd vṛtrahan vā́jināṃ vā́jināny úd ráthānāṃ jáyatāṃ yántu ghóṣāḥ ||

Rüttle auf, o Maghavan, die Waffen; rüttle auf die Herzen meiner Kämpfer. O Vṛtrahan, erhebe die Machtfülle der Starken; erhebe die Wagen — es sollen die Rufe der Sieger hinausdringen.
