शृण्वन्तु स्तोमं मरुतः सुदानवोऽग्निजिह्वा ऋतावृधः । पिबतु सोमं वरुणो धृतव्रतोऽश्विभ्यामुषसा सजूः ॥
śṛṇvántu stómaṃ marútaḥ sudā́navo’gnijihvā́ ṛtāvṛ́dhaḥ | píbatú sómaṃ váruṇo dhṛtávrato’śvíbhyām uṣásā sajū́ḥ ||
Die Maruts, die freigebigen Spender, mit feurigen Zungen, die Ṛta mehren, sollen diesen Stoma hören. Varuṇa, fest in seinem Gelübde, soll den Soma trinken—zusammen mit den Aśvins und mit Uṣas, in einem Einklang.
