Sukta 1.40
उप क्षत्रं पृञ्चीत हन्ति राजभिर्भये चित्सुक्षितिं दधे । नास्य वर्ता न तरुता महाधने नार्भे अस्ति वज्रिणः ॥
úpa kṣatráṃ pṛñcīt hánti rājábhir bhayé cít su-kṣitíṃ dadhé | nā́syá vartā́ ná tarutā́ mahā-dhánē nā́rbhe asti vajríṇaḥ ||
Er stärkt die kṣatra‑Macht; er schlägt Könige nieder; selbst inmitten der Furcht setzt er gutes Wohnen fest. Für den Vajrin, den Träger des Vajra, gibt es keinen Hemmer und keinen Überwinder – weder im großen Ringen noch im kleinen: die Kraft, die Widerstand bricht, ist nicht aufzuhalten.
