अस्य श्लोको दिवीयते पृथिव्यामत्यो न यंसद्यक्षभृद्विचेताः । मृगाणां न हेतयो यन्ति चेमा बृहस्पतेरहिमायाँ अभि द्यून् ॥

asyá ślóko divī́yate pṛthivyā́m átyo na yaṃsad yákṣa-bhṛ́d ví-cetāḥ | mṛgā́ṇāṃ na hetáyo yánti cemā́ bṛ́haspáter áhi-māyāṃ abhí dyū́n ||

Dieser Hymnus zieht in Himmel und auf Erden; der einsichtige Träger der Macht treibt ihn wie ein schnelles Ross. Und diese seine Stöße fahren aus wie die Geschosse wilder Tiere — gegen die Schlangentäuschungen, gegen die Tage, die von jener krummen Zauberkunst verdunkelt sind.
