वि घ त्वावाँ ऋतजात यंसद्गृणानो अग्ने तन्वे वरूथम् । विश्वाद्रिरिक्षोरुत वा निनित्सोरभिह्रुतामसि हि देव विष्पट् ॥

Transliteration

ví gha tvā́vān ṛtajāta yaṃsád gṛṇāná agne tanvé varū́tham | víśvād ririkṣór utá vā ninitsór abhí-hrutām ási hí deva víṣpaṭ ||

Translation

Wer ganz von dir erfüllt ist, o Agni, aus der Ṛta geboren, gewinnt durch sein Lobpreis für sein eigenes Wesen weiten Schutz. Denn du bist wahrlich der Hüter vor jeder Gefahr: vor dem, der offen schädigen will, und vor dem, der im Verborgenen schlägt—o Gott, Herr des Hauses.
