ते हि द्यावापृथिवी विश्वशम्भुव ऋतावरी रजसो धारयत्कवी । सुजन्मनी धिषणे अन्तरीयते देवो देवी धर्मणा सूर्यः शुचिः ॥

Sanskrit recitationRig Veda 1.160.1

té hí dyāvā-pṛthivī́ viśvá-śambhuvau ṛtā́-varī rájaso dhārayát-kavī | su-jánmanī dhiṣáṇe antár īyate devó devī́ dhármaṇā sū́ryaḥ śúciḥ ||

Denn Himmel und Erde sind wahrlich allheilbringend, Friedensstifter; zwei seherische Mächte, die nach Ṛta die Mittelräume tragen. Zwischen ihnen bewegt sich die reine Sonne nach dem Gesetz — Gott und Göttin, die zwei wohlgeborenen Sitze des Erkennens.
