यः पूर्व्याय वेधसे नवीयसे सुमज्जानये विष्णवे ददाशति । यो जातमस्य महतो महि ब्रवत्सेदु श्रवोभिर्युज्यं चिदभ्यसत् ॥

yaḥ pūrvyāya vedhase navīyase sumajjānaye viṣṇave dadāśati | yo jātam asya mahato mahi bravat sed u śravobhir yujyaṃ cid abhy asat ||

Wer Viṣṇu darbringt — dem uralten Seher und doch immer Neuen, dem Erwecker des guten Verstehens; wer groß von der Größe spricht, die aus ihm geboren ist — der gewinnt wahrlich durch die Kräfte des inspirierten Hörens (śrávas) selbst das, was schwer anzuschirren ist (yújya).
