अद्या देवा उदिता सूर्यस्य निरंहसः पिपृता निरवद्यात् । तन्नो मित्रो वरुणो मामहन्तामदितिः सिन्धुः पृथिवी उत द्यौः ॥

Transliteration

adyā́ devā́ udítā sū́ryasya nír aṃ́hasaḥ pipṛtā́ nír avadyā́t | tán no mitró váruṇo māmahantām áditiḥ síndhuḥ pṛthivī́ utá dyáuḥ ||

Translation

Heute, o Götter, mit dem Aufgang der Sūrya: führt uns heraus aus Bedrängnis, führt uns heraus aus Schuld. Mögen Mitra und Varuṇa uns weiten; mögen Aditi, Sindhu, die Erde und auch der Himmel uns nähren und schützen.
