Sarga 93: Rāvaṇa’s Grief and Fury after Indrajit’s Fall; Move to Slay Vaidehī and Ministerial Restraint
सीतादुःखसमाविष्टाविलपन्तीदमब्रवीत् ।।।।यथायंमामभिक्रुद्धःसमभिद्रवतिस्वयम् ।वधिष्यतिसनाथांमामनाथामिवदुर्मतिः ।।।।
sītā duḥkhasamāviṣṭā vilapantī idam abravīt |
yathāyaṃ mām abhikruddhaḥ samabhidravati svayam |
vadhiṣyati sanāthāṃ māṃ anāthām iva durmatiḥ ||
Überwältigt von Kummer und weinend sagte Sita: „Seht, wie dieser Böswillige wütend von sich aus auf mich zustürmt – er will mich töten, als wäre ich hilflos und ohne Zuflucht, obwohl ich einen Beschützer habe.“
Thus spoke Sita filled with sorrow crying," This evil minded angry one is coming to me to kill me as though I am an orphan even though I have a protector."
