Sarga 93: Rāvaṇa’s Grief and Fury after Indrajit’s Fall; Move to Slay Vaidehī and Ministerial Restraint
प्रकृत्याकोपनंह्येनंपुत्रस्यपुनराधयः ।।।।दीप्तंसन्दीपयामासुर्घर्मेऽर्कमिवरश्मयः ।
prakṛtyā kopanaṃ hy enaṃ putrasya punar-ādhayaḥ |
dīptaṃ sandīpayāmāsur gharme 'rkam iva raśmayaḥ ||
Zorn lag in seiner Natur; und nun entfachte die frische Qual um den Verlust seines Sohnes ihn noch mehr—wie die Sommersonne, die durch ihre eigenen Strahlen heller entbrennt.
