ऐन्द्रास्त्रेणसमायुज्यलक्ष्मणःपरवीरहा ।।।।ततशिरःसशिरस्त्राणंश्रीमज्ज्वलितकुण्डलम् ।प्रमथ्येन्द्रजितःकायात्पातयामासभूतले ।।।।

Transliteration

aindrāstreṇa samāyujya lakṣmaṇaḥ paravīrahā |

tat śiraḥ saśirastrāṇaṃ śrīmaj jvalitakuṇḍalam |

pramathyendrajitaḥ kāyāt pātayāmāsa bhūtale ||

Translation

Lakṣmaṇa, der Bezwinger feindlicher Helden, lenkte die Aindra-Waffe und zerschmetterte Indrajits Haupt—behelmt und strahlend von flammenden Ohrringen—und ließ es vom Leib zur Erde fallen.
